Volunteer Opportunity

Looking for a great way to start your new year? Check out this awesome volunteer opportunity taking place at Olathe Northwest!

The Kansas City Chinese Association (KCCA) will host the Chinese New Year Gala at Olathe Northwest High School on Saturday, January 14th. The Chinese New Year Gala is KCCA’s most important event of the year. It is a night of family gathering, incredible food, entertaining theatrical performances, and great company. For seven straight years, KCCA’s Chinese New Year Gala has always been a sold-out event.

We see ONW as an important pillar of our local community. KCCA’s New Year’s Gala offers a one-of-a-kind opportunity to promote your school to our members, Gala attendees, and community at-large. We are needing many volunteers to help us on some of our culture showcase (for example: art display), maintaining the order, ticket check-in, etc., and would like to invite ONW students to earn service hours. The volunteers can work on any slots between 11:00 am and 11:00 pm. We can assign different tasks to the person based off his/her personal schedule. For volunteer service, we are 501C3 organization and can provide certificate to those volunteers if needed.
